DESIGN FEATURES

  • Exceptionally low dump clearance requirements in both vertical and horizontal directions.
  • Design permits a wide range of payload capacities.
  • Easily adapted to either a hinging cage or an integral cage forming the upper half of the skip.

 

GENERAL CONSTRUCTION

  • Bail and bucket are integral design with main components being manufactured from aluminium plate and structural shapes, abrasive resistant steel wear shoes at three locations per side, and an all steel safety mechanism complete with rope attachments. A combination of aluminium and steel can be employed in the design as well, or in exceptional cases an all steel design.
  • Main components of the steel bucket door are manufactured from aluminium. All hinges, safety latches and dump roller components are manufactured from steel.
  • Aluminium and steel buckets are lined with A.R.S. or 400 BHN steel plate with wood cushion under the floor liner. If a cage is designed into the upper portion of the bucket the throat opening and underside of the cage floor are then lined.

 

SHAFT GUIDANCE

  • Wabi design spring loaded guide rollers (recommended for high hoisting speeds).
  • Pneumatic or polyurethane wheels available as design requires.
  • Other guide roller adjustment designs available, such as serrated plates or eccentric axle adjustments.

*Bail type construction lends itself to a longer service life in rougher shaft conditions, i.e. high hoisting speeds.
