DESIGN FEATURES

  • Exceptionally low dump clearance requirements in both vertical and horizontal directions.
  • Design permits a wide range of payload capacities.
  • Easily adapted to either a hanging cage or an integral cage forming the upper half of the skip.

 

GENERAL CONSTRUCTION

  • Bail and bucket are integral design with main components manufactured from aluminum plate and structural shapes.
  • Abrasive resistant steel wear shoes at three locations per side.
  • All steel safety mechanism come with rope attachments.
  • A combination of aluminum and steel can be employed in the design as well, or in exceptional cases an all steel design.
  • Bucket door fabricated entirely of steel, with bronze bushings supplied in the pivot shaft bosses.
  • Door actuating mechanism is also fabricated entirely of steel with bronze bushings and alloy steel pins supplied at all pivot points.
  • Steel buckets are completely lined with A.R.S or 400 BHN steel plate with a wood cushion under the floor liner.
  • If a cage is designed into the upper portion of the bucket, the throat opening and underside of the cage are then fully lined.
  • Optional rubber liners are also available for severe impact conditions.

 

SHAFT GUIDANCE

  • Wabi design spring loaded guide rollers (recommended for high hoisting speeds).
  • Pneumatic or Polyurethane wheels available as design requires.
  • Other guide roller adjustment designs available, such as serrated guide plates or eccentric axle adjustments.

*Bail type construction lends itself to a longer service life in rougher shaft conditions, i.e. high hoisting speeds.
