The Role

Reporting to senior leadership, the Vice President, Finance oversees Wabi’s financial operations and provides strategic leadership during the multi-phase Foundry ’29 modernization program. The role works closely with operations, engineering, lenders, and government partners to support major capital investments and operational improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee all accounting functions, including AR/AP, payroll, general ledger, and month-end close
  • Produce accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, KPI reporting, and detailed variance analysis
  • Evaluate and support major CapEx projects, government-funded initiatives, and multi-stage capital planning
  • Enhance internal controls and ensure full GAAP compliance
  • Partner with operations to optimize cost accounting, inventory management, and production-driven financial performance
  • Provide financial insights to guide automation, modernization, and operational improvements
  • Liaise with lenders, auditors, government funding partners, tax advisors, and other external parties
  • Mentor and develop accounting and finance staff as the business continues to scale

Qualifications

  • CPA designation required
  • Minimum 5 years of finance leadership experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Strong knowledge of cost accounting, capital project accounting, and ERP systems
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and collaborate cross-functionally
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-growth, project-driven environment
